Our Mission

Use the most environmentally friendly, sustainable (www.fsc.org) and non-toxic packaging materials available. icebox is made primarily from biodegradable recyclable paper (http://www.recyclecartons.com). The minimal polyethylene cap, is fully recyclable and non-leaching, not presenting any health threats.

The icebox package takes up less space, due to it’s rectangular shape compared to traditional round bottles. This results in reduced storage and shipping, and the corresponding reduction in energy consumption.

The positive impact of icebox packaging on the environment is substantial. Our Carbon Footprint is significantly lower than comparably sized plastic bottles.

Even with production and transport from Norway, our small boxes have a Carbon Footprint that is only 1/4 of the comparable plastic bottle produced in the USA (76% smaller Carbon Footprint – WOW).  And that is Good for the planet. Click for our Elopak Sustainability Position.
